★Comments from the cast of Bluebeard's Castle have arrived★
Bluebeard: Miyamoto Masumitsu
"Bluebeard is not an assailant, he is a person himself. The castle is Bluebeard's heart, the seven doors are the fault lines in his heart, and the words 'Do not open' show that he lives in the secret itself.
Bluebeard is silent, but his music is eloquent. This contradiction is the very conflict between a person's desire for recognition and their repressed heart. We also sense the conflict in Judith's inability to restrain her desire to know.
Can people still understand each other? Bluebeard will show you the door to your hearts."
Judith: Eimi Ishibashi
"When you love someone, the moment your heart is filled, you may also become aware of your own fragility.
Judith also desperately wants to open up his heart and know everything. She knows she would be happier not knowing, but she still can't stop herself.
I would like to play with care the psychology of a woman who loves someone, such as helpless anxiety, turmoil, jealousy, and fear."
Bard: Munetoshi Tanaka
"I hope to play a minstrel who can transport the audience into the world of Bluebeard.
Although this will be my first time meeting the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, I am very much looking forward to this performance, as I was taught cello by a teacher who was a member of the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra when I was a student at Kyoto University Orchestra." - TicketA seat: X NUM X yen
